No, RE (which is faster to install) will "bridge the gap" until we come to our senses and build out our nuclear capacity, which will solve the problem permanently. In 30 years when the windmills and solar panels and batteries need replacing, we won't have to because we'll have a permanent solution instead. Until we get fatories built to mass-produce SMRs, NPPs take too long to license and build, so we do need temporary carbon-free relief. Geothermal is also good, wherever it's feasible.
