I take your point, but when anyone writes, they write to an audience; and they are obliged to make some generalizations about that audience. Ideally we would say only things that apply to every single individual human being, regardless of their history, circumstances or beliefs; but I can’t think of much of importance to say about anything that satisfies that criterion.
