Good article, except for the pandering to "No Nukes!" fanatics by parroting their bogus claims, like "... far more deadly radioactive byproducts, such as the fatal caesium-137, would be produced. These would then rain down on a random part of the Earth’s surface, rendering it completely inhospitable." Come on. You MUST know this is exaggerated beyond reason.
